Job Description
The Peri-Operative Service Manager is responsible for leading and managing the Peri-Operative Suite including Main Theatres, Day Services, CSSD, and the Elective Surgery Access Unit. The focus is on achieving excellence within nursing, engaging and maintaining strong relationships with all stakeholders while promoting the Mission and Values of Bass Coast Health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality of the design process and ensure that when designs are translated into code they accurately reflect the design specifications.
- Ensure design choices are data led by identifying assumptions to test each sprint, and work with the analysts in your team to plan moderated usability test sessions.
- Be involved in every step of the product design cycle from discovery to developer handoff and user acceptance testing.
- Work with BAs, product managers and tech teams to lead the Product Design.
- Accurately estimate design tickets during planning sessions.
Requirements of the position are:
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Proven nursing leadership experience
- Understanding and experience in perioperative services.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellent patient care.
- Autonomous and self-directed.
- Ability to motivate a team and display the values of BCH.
- Well-developed and recent clinical skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Post-graduate qualifications well regarded.
- Valid police check.
- COVID-19 Vaccination in accordance with the COVID-19 Mandatory Vaccination Orders
