Job Description

We are currently undergoing a major growth transformation program to enable Frew Foods International to further enhance its strong customer service commitment to quality, food safety, reliability, and traceability, as well as focusing on growing its customer base through new distribution channels, product development, and customer relationships. We currently have the following immediate vacancy based in our Meat Plant located at 46 Abattoir Road, Stawell VIC 3380.

Key Responsibilities

•     Provides assistance in the use of personal computer hardware, software, and specialized network technology or operates a multi-platform computer environment or monitors the production scheduling, execution, and successful completion of production jobs.
•     Sets up and configures desktop computers, peripherals and accounts assigning security level.  Install software, repairs hardware and peripherals and tests programs.
•     To check Company’s network for errors, repair malfunctioning peripherals, troubleshoot problems, diagnoses problems, implements corrective action procedures within prescribed guidelines as appropriate.  Maintains systems, databases, and Company Webpage.
•     Keeps detailed records of all network’s configurations, peripheral specifications, problems and solutions, and essential routine back-ups of Company’s information.

The ideal candidate will have:

•     Education: High school graduate or equivalent with data processing training, computer operations training, or experience in a multi-operation system or production control environment preferred.
•     Two or more years of related experience with computers and providing customer service in a technological environment.
•     Computer network skills – possesses extensive knowledge of the inner workings of computer networks, as well as how to operate and repair them.
•     Peripheral skills – includes installing and repairing of computer peripherals.
•     Attention to detail – keeps detailed records, data back-up and working with complex networks.
•     Communication skills – work with colleagues and internal customers, have well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
